Tell me what you think about this song that I am writing
Now that I have started it I find it quite exciting
I have no idea where the lyrics are gonna take me
I’ll go anywhere they wanna go

I don’t know whether it is going to be a sad song
Maybe it will be quite short or maybe it will be long
Once I have written all the lyrics I’ll think of a strong
Melody to go with all my words

I will play a chord progression on my guitar and then
I will think of a fantastic title for my song when
I have finished all the words that I’ve written with my pen
No I don’t know what to call my song

A chorus I’ve just realised that I haven’t written
Off much more than I can chew I think that I have bitten
I’m not bothered for in this song I think I’m now smitten
Songs they don’t need a chorus so there

I am now up to verse five and I think that’s enough so
To another verse for this song I think I will say no
Hope you liked my silly song tara for I must now go
Maybe one day this song I will sing
