The Songbay AI to Human Transformation Service
At Songbay we believe AI should be a starting point, not a shortcut.
The AI song is professionally recreated from the ground up by a team of expert session musicians, vocalists, engineers, and producers. The musical content, including vocals, drums, bass, keyboards, guitars, backing vocals and percussion, is re-performed and re-recorded in full studio quality.
Our team replaces synthetic vocals with professional singers whose tone and vocal range match the original, we then arrange and perform all instrumental parts using real musicians. Where appropriate, we may compose and add tasteful musical embellishments and additional harmonies to enhance the song’s arrangement and emotional/dynamic impact.
On some occasions, if a particular AI-generated sound (such as a synth or other unique sound) is of exceptionally high quality and musically appropriate, we may choose to retain it. These moments are carefully selected and then reworked, humanised, and re-engineered to ensure they blend seamlessly into the live production. This approach allows us to preserve the artistic identity of the original while delivering a truly human sound.
All tracks are then meticulously reassembled and mixed using professional techniques such as EQ, reverb, compression, stereo panning and mastering to produce a powerful and polished final master, ready for commercial release.
Crucially, the service adds substantial human performance, arrangement and production contributions. These human-created contributions may attract copyright and related rights. Subject to your rights in the supplied source and applicable platform terms, the completed master may be released commercially and pitched for licensing. Copyright treatment varies by country, so SongBay cannot guarantee the copyright status of an AI source or completed work in every jurisdiction.

Membership must remain active until final delivery. The subsidised price is limited to one production service in any rolling 12-month period. Eligibility will be checked before studio time is reserved. All other customers pay the standard £695 price.
