Trumpty Dumpty Has A Smelly Bum

On my bed one night I saw
A great big spider crawling
To my Mommy I cried out
On my bed I was bawling
As my Mom came into my bedroom
She said to me,
“Oh my gosh! I can’t believe
You find that thing scary!”

“Like a very frightened leaf
The poor thing he is shaking
The poor thing tremble with fear
And anguish you are making
You are much bigger than he is
Afraid why are you
The poor thing is so scared
He does not know what to do.”

Spider on my bed
Spider on my bed
Go away I do not want you
Crawling on my head

“I think it’s because he has
Eight legs that’s why he’s scary
And because they are so very long
And oh so hairy.”
“Well how do you think he feels
About the way you look?
With horror fear and terror
The poor thing will be struck!”

“I know, Mommy, but I can’t help
Being scared of him
Please take him out and carefully
Put him in the bin.”
“I will do no such thing!”
My dear Mommy said to me
“He’s a living thing and
I will treat him humanely!”

Spider on my bed
Spider on my bed
Go away I do not want you
Crawling on my head

In a catcher she trapped the spider
And then she took
Him outside and then released him
By a nearby brook
“Goodbye, Spider!” my Mom said,
“And please do not come back
For my son is scared of you
In case him you attack.”

“As if!” the spider said,
“Your son’s much bigger than me
But to stay away from your son
I am quite happy.”
So the spider crawled away
And stayed away from me
With no spider in my bedroom
I was now happy

Spider on my bed
Spider on my bed
He has gone away and he’s not
Crawling on my head

I went to sleep but then at
Two thirty seven I
Awoke to find on my nose
A great big dirty fly
Then another fly flew into
My room then another
Soon my room was full of flies
So I cried for my Mother

“Please, Mom, ask the spider
If he will come back inside
All these dirty flies in here
Have left me horrified
So my Mom went and asked
The spider to come back in
The spider it came back in
And the flies went flying

Out of the window and I was
So glad they had gone
“Thank you, Spider, “I said, “Rest your
Weary head upon
My soft pillow next to me
For you deserve a rest
Of all the spiders in the world
You’re simply the best

Spider on my bed
Spider on my bed
Sleeping peacefully on my pillow
Next to my head
Spider on my bed
Spider on my bed
Sleeping peacefully on my pillow

Dream Dream Dream Dream Dream My Baby

One night lots of tiny little
Flying saucers flew
Through my bedroom window and I
Knew not what to do
Around my bedroom they flew and
Made a humming noise
Maybe they were full of
Astronomic girls and boys

I thought about crying out for
Help to my dear Mum
Then to my help into my bedroom
My Mum would come
My Mum is dead brave and she would
Shoo them all away
Then I thought maybe it would be
Fun to let them stay

Flying saucers in my bedroom
Came from out of space
Putting awe and wonder on my
Disbelieving face

They have come a long way from their
Planet out in space
Maybe I should put a friendly
Smile upon my face
So that’s what I did I smiled
And said, “You are welcome!”
This would be my secret so I
Did not tell my Mum

The spaceships they stopped humming
And settled on my bed
An alien came out of one
Of them and he said,
“Hi, me and my cosmic friends
Have come from far away
“Hi!” I said quite nervously
“Do you all want to play?”

“Yes that would be fun!”
The alien he said to me
All of his friends came out of
Their spaceships and with glee
They all jumped up and down
On my bed and we had fun
Now the intergalactic
Playfulness had begun

Flying saucers in my bedroom
Came from out of space
Putting awe and wonder on my
Disbelieving face

Just then my bedroom door opened
There stood my dear Mum
“What’s all the noise?” she said
“Where have these things all come from?”
“Oh my goodness!” one of the
Aliens screamed with fear
“A great big giant with curly hair!”
Let’s disappear!”

Back into the spaceship all the
Aliens they got
Before they went they said to me,
“Forget you we will not!”
Out through my bedroom window
The little spaceships flew
I looked up high into space
And shouted, “I love you!”

My Mum saw a tear roll down
My cheek and said to me
“Don’t worry they will be back
Just wait and you will see
The next night they did indeed
Come back into my room
They spun around my bed in an
Interstellar zoom

Flying saucers in my bedroom
Came from out of space
Putting awe and wonder on my
Disbelieving face

My Mum came back into my room
With a great big smile
“Hello, space kids!” she said not wishing
To be hostile
Me, my Mum and all my space friends
We had a great time
Jumping up and down on my bed
In this happy rhyme

Flying saucers in my bedroom
Came from out of space
Putting awe and wonder on my
Disbelieving face

Flying Saucers In My Bedroom

Twinkle Twinkle Little Star

Oh my goodness everybody
Quickly get inside
From the big green scary monster
You’d better all hide
If he catches you with his big
Claws then you are doomed
He will inflict on you more than
A big nasty wound

He will bite your head off with his
Great big pointed teeth
Or at the very least he will
Bite you underneath
Or he might take you back to his
Great big monster cave
Which will of course sadly become
Your unsmiling grave

So when everybody saw the
Monster they all fled
Into their house and they all hid
Under their own bed
Some of them hid in the wardrobe
Hoping they’d be safe
No matter where they hid there was
Horror on their face

The streets they were empty now
For everyone had gone
The monster looked around for people
But there were none
Then the tears rolled from the monster’s
Eyes for he was sad
For scaring all the people away
He felt so bad

“Please come out from under your beds!”
The monster he cried
“I promise that I won’t eat you
There’s no need to hide!”
When the people heard the monster
Crying they felt sad
“He’s a big softy!” they said and
Now they all felt bad

They all came out from under their
Beds and went outside
They soon realised there was no
Need for them to hide
The great big green monster turned out
To be very nice
Now there was lots of happiness
In the monster’s eyes

The big green monster took the boys
And girls for a ride
With excitement they all cheered
Their eyes were very wide
High across the town in the sky
The monster he flew
Sitting on the monster’s back
They marvelled at the view

The monster took the boys and girls
To his monster cave
The monster turned on his hi-fi
And they had a rave
The music played and the boys and
Girls they all had fun
The happy monster fun had now
Only just begun

Deep into the night the boys and girls
They danced away
With the monster it had been a
Super monster day
They were now all tired and it
Now was time for bed
The monster flew them all home and
“Goodnight, kids!” he said
The boys and girls they all went to
Sleep and dreamed away
Happy dreams about their special
Big green monster day

Big Green Monster

(verse 1)
My love is gone the pain cuts deep
I’m not eating I’m losing sleep
My broken heart I can’t repair
No longer love is in the air
A gaping wound is left behind
An aching in my crazy mind
The laughter now has gone away
How I long for yesterday

(chorus)
I miss you
I really miss you
Like the rain misses the sky
Forever more I’ll cry
I miss you
I really miss you
Like the night misses the moon
Please come back to me soon

(verse 2)
The dreams have now been torn apart
There is an aching in my heart
I’ll never fall in love again
I cannot stand the aching pain
A shadow of my former self
The heartache is bad for my health
I’ll try and keep my head held high
And not let people see me cry

(chorus)
I miss you
I really miss you
Like the rain misses the sky
Forever more I’ll cry
I miss you
I really miss you
Like the night misses the moon
Please come back to me soon

(bridge)
Please come back and stay with me
And we can both be so happy
Let’s just give it one more try
Don’t let it die because I

(chorus)
I miss you
I really miss you
Like the rain misses the sky
Forever more I’ll cry
I miss you
I really miss you
Like the night misses the moon
Please come back to me soon

(verse 3)
A song unsung a story untold
That’s what it’s like now you’re not here to hold
Time will heal so they all say
I see no end to my dismay
Why can’t we be like we once were
I do not want an-other
Can’t we give our love one more
Chance before you close the door

(chorus)
I miss you
I really miss you
Like the rain misses the sky
Forever more I’ll cry
I miss you
I really miss you
Like the night misses the moon
Please come back to me soon
