(verse 1)
My Dad taught me how to ride
A bike when I was five
When I was five it was the best
Time to be alive
I felt safe with training wheels
As I rode in the park
Me and Daddy we stayed out
Until it got quite dark
(verse 2)
I remember when I was a
Seven year old boy
Holding Daddy’s hand in summer
Every day a joy
Playing football on the back field
Jerseys for goalposts
Having fun on Halloween
Pretending to be ghosts
(chorus)
Lots of good times
Lots of smiles
That was me and Dad
Me and Dad we had such fun
The best of times we had
(verse 3)
A chem-ist-ry set my Dad
Bought me when I was eight
We created colourful crystals
And it was great
Chemical reactions filled us both
With lots of joy
Finding out why rockets burn
Was fun for a small boy
(verse 4)
Me and Dad went camping
And he taught me how to build
A fire and we roasted marshmallows
I was thrilled
Me and Dad were cozy by
The campfire all night
With his spooky stories
He gave me a great big fright
(chorus)
Lots of good times
Lots of smiles
That was me and Dad
Me and Dad we had such fun
The best of times we had
(instrumental bridge)
(verse 5)
We went rock climbing when I was ten
It was just fab
Adrenaline pumped around my body
It was mad
I was scared at first but my Dad
Made me feel real safe
I conquered my fears with a
Great big smile on my face
(verse 6)
When I was twelve me and my Dad
We started to paint
Together we painted pictures
Van Gogh son you ain’t
My Dad said to me when I showed
Him my first portrait
He showed me his and I said
That’s not exactly great
(chorus)
Lots of good times
Lots of smiles
That was me and Dad
Me and Dad we had such fun
The best of times we had
(chorus)

(verse 1)
Hearts they break and tears they fall across galactic space
Teardrops glisten with stardust in some cosmical place
Sadness loss unbearable grief shake a black hole’s core
The ether has never seen sorrow like this before
(chorus)
Universe of broken hearts and cosmic melancholy
Fill me with unhappiness and sorrow
To keep me dry from all the tears I will need a brolly
I hope that they’ve all gone by tomorrow
(verse 2)
Heartbreak it is the same all over the universe
Nowhere in creation is a feeling that is worse
Broken hearts can be mended no matter where you are
Whether you live on the planet Earth or somewhere far
(chorus)
Universe of broken hearts and cosmic melancholy
Fill me with unhappiness and sorrow
To keep me dry from all the tears I will need a brolly
I hope that they’ve all gone by tomorrow
(instrumental bridge)
(verse 3)
Stars they twinkle in the sky with emotional pain
Tears they stream from crying eyes like heavyhearted rain
There is lots of space in the universe to heal pain
And it will all be washed away by the falling rain
(chorus)
Universe of broken hearts and cosmic melancholy
Fill me with unhappiness and sorrow
To keep me dry from all the tears I will need a brolly
I hope that they’ve all gone by tomorrow
Universe of broken hearts and cosmic melancholy
Fill me with unhappiness and sorrow
To keep me dry from all the tears I will need a brolly
I hope that they’ve all gone by tomorrow

(verse 1)
The midnight park is silent
The swings they do not swing
The children’s laughter has long faded
Birds no longer sing
A sadness fills the night air
The moon is in the sky
Reflecting in the tranquil pond
Where the night beetles fly
(chorus)
Nighttime it brings starlight kisses
On a blackened sky
Alone I walk through the park
And I break down and cry
(verse 2)
Stars they shine in darkness
Lighting up the night
Fireworks in velvet sky
Beautiful delight
Dreamy and poetic
Feels the night time park
All the nocturnal creatures
They come out in the dark
(chorus)
Nighttime it brings starlight kisses
On a blackened sky
Alone I walk through the park
And I break down and cry
(instrumental bridge)
(verse 3)
A park bench now stands empty
Lovers now gone home
Amongst the overflowing bins
Mice and rats they roam
Shadows stretch across the grass
Clouds roll by the moon
Trees they sway deep in the night
Morning will come soon
(chorus)
Nighttime it brings starlight kisses
On a blackened sky
Alone I walk through the park
And I break down and cry
Nighttime it brings starlight kisses
On a blackened sky
Alone I walk through the park
And I break down and cry

(verse 1)
Mr Lord is quite insane
He has to try out his new cane
It’s time to punish boys again
He is a raving nutcase
He makes the boys stand in a line
And canes them all one at a time
His evil smile it is a sign
He is a raving nutcase
(chorus)
He is a raving nutcase
A stinking bastard nutcase
A cruel and twisted nutcase
The evil Mr Lord
(verse 2)
A savage strapping of a boy
Will give that bastard so much joy
How could anyone employ
A wicked raving nutcase
But Mr Lord is not alone
In every school it is well known
That all the teachers have been shown
To be a raving nutcase
(chorus)
He is a raving nutcase
A stinking bastard nutcase
A cruel and twisted nutcase
The evil Mr Lord
(bridge)
This is the story of my abuse
At the hands of Mr Lord
For his behaviour there’s no excuse
So please do not applaud
(chorus)
He is a raving nutcase
A stinking bastard nutcase
A cruel and twisted nutcase
The evil Mr Lord
(verse 3)
Boys are throttled by their ties
Choked by teachers twice their size
Till sobbing tears stream from their eyes
Crushed by a raving nutcase
Boys are made to cry and bawl
As heads are banged against the wall
And banged again to make them fall
Assaulted by a nutcase
Of violent teachers of the past
Thank God that we have seen the last
The things they did leave us aghast
Each one a raving nutcase
(chorus)
He is a raving nutcase
A stinking bastard nutcase
A cruel and twisted nutcase
The evil Mr Lord
He is a raving nutcase
A stinking bastard nutcase
A cruel and twisted nutcase
The evil Mr Lord
