Artist's Description
Life Wrote the Chapters is one of the most personal songs I've ever written.
The lyrics are inspired by real events from my childhood and the years that followed. While some details remain private, every emotion in this song comes from genuine experience.
Like many people, I discovered early in life that we don't get to choose every chapter that's written for us. Some chapters bring joy. Others bring heartbreak, loss, and questions that seem impossible to answer.
This song isn't about reliving the past.
It's about discovering that our past doesn't have to decide our future.
Over time, I learned that while life may write many of our chapters, we still have the freedom to choose how the story continues. Every setback became an opportunity to grow, every scar became part of a larger story, and every sunrise became a reminder that hope still exists.
My hope is that anyone carrying painful memories will hear this song and remember that the hardest chapters don't have to become the final page.

"This is where I came from, but it isn't where I stayed."

(Verse 1) I was only five when everything shattered, One small heart forever changed. Some wounds slowly found their healing, Some memories never remained. I still remember rain on the old dirt road, A childhood carried by the breeze. Then six years old beneath a crimson sunset, One single moment changed everything. The world fell silent all around me, Yet heaven never left my side. The darkness couldn't steal tomorrow — I opened my eyes To another sunrise.

(Pre-Chorus)
Every scar became a story. Every tear became a prayer. Somewhere deep inside the darkness, Hope was breathing there.

(Chorus)
Life wrote every chapter, But I chose how they would end. I couldn't rewrite yesterday, But I could choose the man within. When anger called my name, Love answered even louder. When hatred whispered, "Become like me..." Mercy softly answered, "Become something better." I've fallen a thousand times, But every single time, I rose again.

(Verse 2) At eight years old, A suitcase in my hand, No one ever asked What dreams I had. A father's name I barely understood. An empty chair... And bottles where he stood. Hands that trembled learned to steady, Long before they learned to grow. Children shouldn't carry burdens Only broken hearts should know. Still... I kept walking.

(Final Chorus)
Life may write the chapters, But I will write the ending. Storms may shape the journey, Love will choose the destination. If darkness fills the sky, I'll become a light. If someone loses hope, I'll help them find the dawn. A thousand falls Will never define me. Because true strength Isn't living Without tears. It's choosing to love Even while they fall.

(Finale)
(The orchestra slowly fades, leaving only piano, solo violin, and children's choir.)
The scars remain... But they no longer lead. The past remembers my story... Hope remembers Who I became.
