Originally from London I packed a bag in 1978 and travelled alone around the world for around 20 years in different continents. I did hundreds of jobs, met thousands of people... who temporarily, sometimes permanently, shared my life. I had adventures, experiences,loved and learnt life's lessons in an restless journey that urged me to always be seeking the next challenge, that next paradis or the next experience.I feel privileged to have had so many different people play a part in my life, big and small, mostly good but sometimes bad...but all of it contributing to the man I am today. Inevitably a woman got me to unpack my bag and I ended up in Denmark, house, kids, dog...another side of life ...but on the same never ending road.
I play some very basic chords on the guitar and had written some songs since I was a teeenager. When I retired I had time and pages and pages of poems, lyrics and songs that I had written during emotional periods or when life inspired me. Almost all of my songs come from my own life experiences or experiences of those close to me....and as life goes on there is a long list to choose from!
With the possibility of using AI to develop this material into something presentable I spend many hours refining each song until I am satisfied the song has the right combination of music, voice and lyrics.I hope that if someone takes the time to listen to some of my songs there might just be a line or two that touches on their own lives and experiences ...and gives them a moment of reflection.
Writing songs is just a hobby...I have no desire to be an artist!
