Five little monkeys in my wardrobe
Keeping me awake
Swinging from the metal hangers
Stop them I must make

Peeling their bananas
Throwing them at me
Naughty little monkeys
Behaving naughtily

Chatter chatter all night long

Thunder it keeps me awake
But this is worse by far

Stop that now you monkeys
I so need my shut eye
If you don’t stop then you will
Surely make me cry

For too many disturbed nights now
I have had no sleep
With your crazy noisy antics
You have made me weep
