[size=medium][font=Merriweather, serif]We are seeking a Violin Instructor for our campuses. The instructor will be responsible for teaching private lessons and likely group classes in addition.

Responsibilities 

– Deliver high-quality instruction to students of all ages in private lessons and group classes
– Provide assessment of musical progress for all students
– Collaborate with parents and administrative staff for scheduling, etc 
– Timely correspondence with director, school staff, and parents
– Actively participate in faculty meetings

– Minimum of two years teaching experience
– Ability to communicate instrumental techniques and concepts to students
– Personable, collaborative nature and able to work with students, families, and administration
– High level of professionalism and musicianship
– Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in music performance or education
– Reliable Transportation (regular access to vehicle)
– Ideally, live close or near the western suburbs of Chicago
– Available weekdays from 3-9 pm and/or Sat 9-4pm
