Reporting to the Department Chair, the Lecturer of Music requires the ability to conduct orchestras and teach one or more of the following: 1) vocal coaching; 2) double reeds; or 3) tuba/euphonium. The position is a nine-month, non-tenure-track appointment, and the salary is competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience.

· Earned Master’s degree in Music by August 1, 2017.
· Must be authorized to work in the United States for the duration of employment without assistance from the institution.

Preferred Qualifications:
· Doctoral degree in Music by August 1, 2017.
· Experience as opera conductor.
· Experience as vocal coach.
