Minimum degree–Doctorate required; ABD will be considered. Evidence of successful teaching experience at the collegiate level in music theory and composition.

Job Concepts
The successful candidate will work collaboratively with the faculty to administrate and coordinate all aspects of the theory/composition program. The primary teaching responsibilities will include teaching undergraduate and graduate music theory and composition courses as they rotate through the music curriculum, as well as other duties as assigned according to the candidate’s qualifications and the program needs. Additional service through committee work or administrative support for the Music Program is expected. The successful candidate will be dedicated to developing meaningful working relationships with students, faculty, and staff across campus as well as potential incoming students.
