[size=medium][font=Merriweather, serif]Direct our bands. Lead and assist in recruiting of students, including maintaining close relationships with high school band programs throughout Kansas. Oversee instrumental applied area. Additional teaching assignments, based on candidate’s capabilities and interests, may include: conducting, music education courses, private lessons, other core courses as needed. 

Participate in department/program assessment plans, and support the mission of the college. Demonstrate commitment to and enthusiasm for quality undergraduate teaching, knowledge of instrumental music in a liberal arts setting and community where the arts are an integral and highly visible component of the institution’s image.

Qualifications: 
Preferred: Doctorate or ABD and a minimum of three years successful teaching experience a secondary and post-secondary level or Masters and more than five years successful teaching experience in public schools. 
Required: Masters and three years successful public school teaching experience.
