The Dogwood wept as it was hewn down.
For years it stood far above the ground
It's limbs stretched out far and wide. But today it knew it would Crucify Christ.

The men they came and cut it down. Then they cut it in pieces on the ground. They took two pieces and skinned the bark. Then they drilled three holes through that part.
As the Dogwood cried in agony. It did not want to Crucify it's King.

The Dogwood was the tree that Crucified it's King. I believe it felt the agony as they nailed him to the tree.
The Dogwood gave it's life just like Jesus Christ and it became a Cross for you and me
.I believe it even cried the day they Crucified Jesus Christ it's Maker and King.

The Dogwood tree has it's place in history. No longer tall can it grow.
Jesus cursed the Dogwood tree after it crucified it's King.

Today when you see a Dogwood tree they are small not very tall not much to see.
But the reason why they're so puny
is Jesus was killed on a Dogwood tree.
