I lift My Hands
By Chris Grider
1When I think of where I was and where I'm at now
I just can't help but thank the Lord so my head I bow
And as I'm talking to Jesus I lift my hands
I am transported to his throne room again
Chorus
I lift my hands to the one who parted the sea
I lift my hands to the one who made a blind man see
I lift my hands to the one who made the lame walk again
to bring honor to Jesus I lift my hands
2Life moves so fast in this world that we live in
We should all just stop and thank him
He has been so good it makes me want to stand
with my eyes toward Heaven I lift my hands
Chorus
I lift my hands to the one who makes the demons flee
I lift my hands to the one who gave his life for me
I lift my hands to the one who was dead and rose again
To bring honor to my Savior I lift my hands
Bridge
And I know that with my hands lift high
As I am praising Jesus Christ
Celebrating the one who saved my life
My knees get weak I can hardly stand
so to him I lift my hands
Chorus
I lift my hands to the one who parted the sea
I lift my hands to the one who made a blind man see
I lift my hands to the one who made the lame walk again
to bring honor to Jesus I lift my hands
3I thank you Jesus I can lift my hands
Because of your love I've been born again
Your precious blood has taken all my sin
To bring honor to my Redeemer I lift my hands
Chorus
I lift my hands to the one who has washed me clean
I lift my hands to the one who seen what I couldn't see
I lift my hands to the one who always had a plan
To bring honor to Jesus I lift my hands
To bring honor to Jesus I lift my hands
end
Yes to bring honor to Jesus I lift my hands
