1They say it’s hard for you to love me

But that’s not what I’ve seen

I done everything for you to just leave me

But that’s why your blood was shed.. on Calvary

Chorus

His love ran red that fateful day

When they nailed him to the cross

As the Father looked away

His precious blood was lost

As it ran down that dusty old hill

The Love of God was revealed

Now sin doesn’t have any place

His love ran red and the price was paid

2The world doesn’t believe it’s true

So, they have got no time for you

To it your just a fairy tale

There is no Heaven or Hell

The Bible is only some stories to tell

Chorus

His love ran red that fateful day

When they nailed him to the cross

As the Father looked away

His precious blood was lost

As it ran down that dusty old hill

The Love of God was revealed

Now sin doesn’t have any place

His love ran red and the price was paid

Bridge

He was nailed to a cross that day

He knew the debt had to be paid

He could have went away

But he chose to die

For you and I

Chorus

His love ran red that fateful day

When they nailed him to the cross

As the Father looked away

His precious blood was lost

As it ran down that dusty old hill

The Love of God was revealed

Now sin doesn’t have any place

His love ran red and the price was paid

3Today he is alive and well

He’s defeated the powers of Hell

And has the key to death and the grave

He’s the only way you can be saved
