Staring through my window, it rains outside. Like many nights before, I will lock my door tonight. I wish the rain could wash this all away, Against this house of nightmare I pray. I end up in a foster home, a family so different from mine. I found with them God's plan Devine. No longer believe the lie, for my sorrow He is not to blame. I opened my heart to Him, He has called me by name. Only Jesus can set us free, a life without Him, He never meant to be. Everything works out altogether good, for those who love God, yes it would. Give your life to Him, walk in His perfect plan, what you need to do, let go of the old man. Looking back today, at all those years, I was never alone, He was always near. I did not knew it then, but it is true, now my family, our future, all belongs to You. For me and my house, we will serve the Lord. In You, living, we are a new generation. You are the Rock, our firm Foundation. Our house will not be shaken. What will you do with the free will He gave, where will you be on the other side of the grave? He offers you life, instead of death. Seek Him now, wile you still have breath.
