Shipwrecked, by a vociferous storm.
I wished that day, I'd never been born.
Aching muscles, looking there to rest.
No solid ground, for me to show my best.
Craving death, the days passed by.
The salt in the water, really burn my eyes.
My body cramping, I started to sink.
But as I did I found, a sandy beach...
My life it seemed, would be saved...
But my striving continued, with every breaking wave|
I stayed vigilant, hoping for a ship.
To remove me from this sand, and to help me with my plans..
I tried to float, but I couldn't escape.
Swimming all the night, only returned me to this place.
Help I needed, but could not find.
Backwards I ran, as I tried, to free my mind...
The beach washed away, with the turbulent sea.
Tired and sinking, the currents let me be.
My quest for land, no longer a concern.
I ascertained a bridge, but it seemed to me it would burn.
This bridge was made of people,
They carried me it seemed,
They saved my life from drowning,
In the boisterous sea.
On the distant shore,
Blazing in the sky.
The lighthouse showed its colors,
In radiating sparkling light.
I couldn't help but notice, the need there seemed to be,
For there were many others, still lost out in the sea.
People worked together, to build a bridge for them,
I asked if I could help, seeing I could swim.
Come cross with me, the raging sea.
Don't descend in sand, I'll be a friend.
Your life can remain, above the stormy pains.
But you'll need to swim, to escape your own sins.
We are the bridge, the entrance we have found.
To live high on life, against the hurting sounds.
The choice is yours, will your life be life reclaimed?
From your shipwrecked strife, and the next galling rain.
Come cross with me, the raging sea.
Don't descend in sand, I'll be a friend.
Your life can remain, above the stormy pains.
But you'll need to swim, to escape your own sins.
