This Road To Nowhere
				By Patrick Cooney
There is so much that's going down in this sleepy little town called Heartbreak
All the rejection leaving devastation in it's wake
So I decide the time's right for a road trip
Don't know where to as long as it's away from here
So I'm driving along and I come upon this place called MoveOn
Find a bar, had some beers, met a girl, brand new start?
Couldn't lead her on so I had to tell her
There was someone else I was thinking about
My one true love, my one true love who broke my heart
So I get on out cause I have no doubt
That which I am searching for I will never ever find here
So I drive to keep my hopes alive
Chasing dreams and the sun that keeps sneaking up on me
And as I drive I find a speck on the map called Regret
Thinking what I could have done to help her change her mind
If I could go back I would not hesitate
Hindsight's 20/20, but I am blind
I'm on this road, I'm on this road to nowhere
Then a storm pops up so I stop in a town called Despair
For some reason I get the feeling I've been here before
The message is quite clear, it's all because she is nowhere near
The storm pounding down is these tears that I cry
I'm on this road, I'm on this road til I die, til I die
I've ended up at a bar called Dini's-By-The-Sea
The crashing waves have helped make it all quite clear
Could go north or south or back home
Whichever way I go she won't be there
Yes I'm on this road, I'm on this road to nowhere
