You’re a friend and a lover and a confidant
When I’m with you I got all I want and it’s true
I’ll never find another like you
You can lift my spirit when I see your eyes
Like the rainbow does when the bluebird flies
When I’m sick with fever or racked with pain
Your cool hand touched like a summer rain
You’re a very special lady and I love you so
Without you there beside me I wouldn’t know where to go
And it’s true
I’ll never love another but you
You stand out like a clearing in a forest of pine
And I thank my lucky stars that you’ll always be mine
When I hold you in my arms I feel so strong
From everywhere you could be this is where you belong
There’s a never ending thought of you running thru my head
That I can always turn to for some tender words you said
And it’s true
I’ll never lover another but you
I would swim a raging river or the deep blue sea
Climb the highest mountain suffer silently for you
Cause I never had another so true
I like to buy you pretty things that make you glad
Keep you out of situations that make you sad
I could never believe that a love so strong
Could keep on growing for so long but its true
I’ll never find another like you
Lying close beside you on a cold cold night
With the goose down keeping us warm and bright
As the years go by and the memories glow
Like a cozy fire in a midnight snow
If I had to do it over it would be the same
From the highest mountain I would call your name
Till you knew
There could never be another like you
