In the quiet hush of twilight’s gleam,
Two hearts once bound, now drift downstream.
Through corridors where shadows cast,
We tread the paths of final past.

Where laughter rang, now silence grows,
In spaces wide where sorrow flows.
The clock, it ticks with steady beat,
Marking the steps of love’s retreat.

Once entwined in fervent grace,
Now parted ways, an endless space.
The memories of what once was,
Fade in the mist of Time’s soft pause.

With heavy hearts, we bid adieu,
To dreams we chased and skies once blue.
The last embrace, a fleeting kiss,
A silent vow in the abyss.

Yet in this end, a truth we find,
In parting ways, our souls unbind.
For Time, relentless, does impart,
A chance to heal, a fresh new start.
