It's pretty alarming
how charming he can be,
how easy he can fool everyone.
He's not having fun
when he claims you don't want
to feel like him at all.

He's like one of those shooting stars
that disappear after a while,
his light is about to blackout
'cause he's dead inside.

And though everyone loves him,
everyone says he's so charming
they don't know a shit,
how empty his soul is.
And everyone hears his laugh,
everyone believes he's ok
but he's lying to himself
when he says he's happy being alive.

Being only 24
he walks the streets so cocky
as if nothing really matters at all.
Isn't he bitterly clever?
He says you'd be jealous of him,
concealing how sad he feels.

You don't want to be like him,
it's not fun when night comes.
He's sad and he really means it,
despite his smile.

And though everyone loves him,
everyone says he's so charming
they don't know a shit,
how empty his soul is.
And everyone hears his laugh,
everyone believes he's ok
but he's lying to himself
when he says he's happy being alive.

It must be one of those God's jokes
when He plays the creationist role
without even thinking of
what kind of desperate soul
he decides to put on earth.
Now he's not coming back.
He smiles sadly for the last time
and puts himself to sleep crying.
