Baby I sit here with tears in my eyes as I realise we’ve grown apart.
I thought a love like ours could never fall apart I sit here with a heavy heart knowing we’ve grown apart.
I know we both still feel we love each other but I feel we’ve grown apart.
I can’t stand feeling this way but I know it’s true that we’ve now grown apart.

When we first got together we couldn’t stand being apart but now we seem to spend all our time apart we don’t talk anymore we don’t make love like we used to it’s like you’re not there anymore.
I remember when we first met we couldn’t keep ours hands off each other and would talk from day till night now when I come home you go out it’s all falling apart.

I know now that was just a fairy-tale and happiness has left our lives.
All we do is argue all night and day when we are together maybe goodbye is what we should say to each other before we tear each other apart.
