Hi :)

New here. I’ve been writing poems for many years and sometimes they end up being written. More in lyric form.

I don’t profess to be a seasoned song writer I just love to write meaningful words :)

I’d absolutely love to hear them put to music rather just on paper!

I know they may not be In a true song format but I have a few examples on my profile and if anyone thinks they could do anything with them, even if they need re writing slightly id love to hear from you!

Minneapolis and St. Paul are known for their cold weather and voracious readership—the Twin Cities perennially finish first in nationwide surveys of literacy. That makes it a great town for an alternative weekly like City Pages. Founded August 1, 1979 as Sweet Potato, a monthly newspaper that covered the local music scene, the publication went weekly on December 3, 1981 and rechristened itself City Pages.

In recent years, a renewed focus has been placed on hard news reporting, and Minnesotans have responded—in the most recent ABC Media Audit, City Pages added 70,000 readers and increased its market share to 27 percent of the 2.85 million who call the Twin Cities home.

Whether it’s mouth-watering food coverage, our annual Best Of The Twin Cities issue or the Comix issue, City Pages proudly serves the most discerning audience in America.
