[size=medium][font=Merriweather, serif]We seek to hire one musician to teach full time in our fast-growing music program. 

The successful applicant will specialize either in jazz/woodwinds or in choral conducting/keyboard. The program will decide which area to fill based on the strength of individual candidates. 

For the jazz option, we seek a working multi-instrumentalist with successful teaching experience at the college level, and the ability to develop contacts with regional high school programs. For the choral/keyboard option, we seek a choral conductor with experience conducting both a capella and show choirs. Ability and experience teaching keyboard (piano or organ) and music theory a plus.

Typical load will be to teach three courses and to conduct one ensemble per semester. Studio music lessons are growing in popularity at the College, and are paid separately from the regular teaching load. This is an annual, fixed-term contract with the possibility of renewal.[/font][/size][/font][/size]
