Hi Leisha (and all other readers). I’m also a long time poet/lyrical verse writer who is trying to go into music. I had one of my old poems made into a pro demo last year (and it came out lackluster, oh well). I’ve got a few works on my own profile at the moment.  https://songbay.co/portfolio/30351

I’m another long-time poet who is venturing into lyric writing. I have written stuff intentionally for music but nothing’s come from it — mostly because I haven’t spoken to musicians much.

I have two deliberate song verse on my profile and another is just a poem that works as lyrical verse. If someone goes to my SoundCloud, you can find another song that was made directly from poetic verse (this was a demo I paid to have made).
