Hi Mike,I think I could definitely help you with this. I have a lot of lyrics for sale, and in the event you are interested in something a little different than what I have to offer, we can collaborate and come up with something else. Thanks,Sakineh Mike U. wrote:
      Hi everyone,
I’m a male vocalist and expert guitarist with touring experience in USA, Europe, etc.

I have been in a signed band (a 1 hit wonder band; our video even made it as far as MTV Hits several years ago). but I’m not really a big wig or doing anything major since moving to Atlanta a couple years ago. I’m on my own writing music but the melodies and lyrics take me YEARS rather than hours to do. The Music is a piece of cake for me.

I’d just be real happy to get maybe 5 songs to record on my cd and put it on cd baby or itunes, and sell it at an occasional show. I like artists like Goo Goo Dolls, Aerosmith, Dishwalla, Tonic; Tom Petty; John Cougar Mellencamp; and I love bluesy swampy southern rock stuff to play lead over and sing. I also like Jason Aldean and some of the modern country stuff that has more edge than traditional country music.

I have completed recording 4 songs for my next cd; if you have any songs to sell or half written songs I’d love to collaborate. I’m fine just paying for the song. I’m not with a label or anything it’s just me and I have a full time day job.
I look forward to hearing from anyone on this forum.

So…how much are you willing to pay for just lyrics, written in a “listen to instrumental” manner?

I am in pretty much the opposite situation as you are lol. I have little problem writing lyrics and can sort of sing them for melody. I have trouble creating the music for them though as I do not have much for a singing voice and I am still learning to play the guitar. Most of what I write is rock, but can be used for blues rock, country and range from light to hard rock. So far I have 18 songs on Songbay copywritten so feel free to check them out and contact me. One song I really have a lot of drive for is titled: Rockin Rollin. Its a blues rock song sort of in the style of Great White’s Rock Me and Once Bitten Twice Shy. I can put it to melody and I do have a pretty good riff for it that works for an intro to the song as well as right after the chorus. Hope to hear from you soon. Thank You.

      Hi Mike

I have a song, Plasma Baby, that is a fusion of styles, including country and rock.

It is best to listen to it on sound cloud under the band name, “Sun Trippers” as the file is too large for me to attach and it is in the process of acceptance at songbay, so not up yet.

Check out the Sun Tripper guys  2 other professionally recorded songs songs.

They have a vast amount of original songs recorded in lounge room or at gigs. So if, Plasma Baby, doesn’t suit you, then I can pass on their details to you.

      Cheers

      Hi Mike

You may get a couple of emails from me. I stuffed up with the too large attachment!

I have a song, Plasma Baby, where I wrote the lyrics and the band, Sun Trippers, composed the music. I have attached, Plasma Baby, for your listening, but in case it it doesn’t open, there is a higher quality recording on sound cloud, under the band name Sun Trippers.

On songbay, my writing name is Plasma Baby also, and I have lyrics for a variety of musical styles if useful to you.

There are 2 other songs the the Sun Tripper guys wrote and recorded professionally.
They are all prolific, experienced songwriters, with loads of lounge room recordings of their original songs.

You may be interested in their work?
So let me know and I can send their contact details to you.

      Cheers

Hi Mike, you sound dreamy and very easy to work with. I’m big into all sorts of music but my heart will always remain with classic rock, soft rock, and just anything with some damn good meaning.  I love writing. I write all day during work, I write all night. I’d wake up in the middle of the night with sudden inspiration and write some more. I studied English Literature with Creative Writing in a University in England, but ultimately, I simply just love to come up with memorable and meaningful, quirky, and layered verses and poems.

Check out Sometimes I Sit Alone, and Good for You – I think they will be more suited to what you are looking for. I’m happy to send you some sample writing if you ever want to throw some topics at me to test my talents, speed, and just to see if we are right for each other to work with.

Hope to hear from you soon.
