Assistant or Associate Professor in Choral Conducting

[size=medium]The responsibilities of this position will include conducting our Men’s Chorus and one other mixed choral ensemble, teaching undergraduate and graduate conducting courses, recruitment of undergraduate and graduate students, contributing to the artistic and intellectual environment of the college and university and maintaining a current profile as a choral conductor and music educator in state, regional and national activities. Depending upon the needs of the college and qualifications of the successful candidate, the chair and/or dean may assign other duties.

1. Earned Doctorate or Master’s degree with five years teaching and conducting experience

2. Teaching experience at the collegiate level preferred

3. Experience in working with men’s voices preferred
