My name is Jillian Mandy Moskiou and I came up with the name 'Eva Machete' because it represents my Greek heritage but also my 'take no prisoners' approach to life! I won the 2012 Canadian National KWC Championships in 2012 (under my old married name: Jillian Mandy Hart). I am a Canadian Greek, who has lived in Canada most of my life. I supported my son, as a single mother, by singing every weekend in the Casinos of British Columbia, Canada for over 5 years. I love to perform! I suffered vocal damage in 2018, causing me to retire my performance career earlier than planned but I am thankful because it gave me the time and the determination to focus on my truest passion of all - writing music! It also led me to a life change as I now reside in Rhodes, Greece with all my Greek relatives (the most important of all - being my best friends, which are my parents and my son!).
I wish I could sing my own songs, but sadly it's not possible. Do you want to sing my songs? Not only do I have many ready for the taking, I am ready and willing to write you any song you want or need. I consider it a creative challenge to pick a topic, or specific talking points, and turn it into poetry for the mind and soul!
