I really really need you, I really really want you
So I’m turning up the look
I really really want to, I really really need to
Turning up the look

Looking like I need to, looking like I want to
I really don’t know how to, I really don’t want to
Don’t really want to tell you, don’t really want to see you
I really want to please you, pay no attention to
Really want to have you, really want to open you
So I’m turning up the look

I don’t really want to ignore you, I really want you to see me
When I’m not around, when you close your eyes
I know you really think about me, I am not that hard to find
I know you don’t really want to say it, but you act like it’s a crime
We really have to be in the moment, we're really almost out of time
I know you like a book; we have to be alone, and I’ve said it all the time
I really got your attention, so I am really turning up the look

I really really need you, I really really want you
So, I’m turning up the look
I really really want to, I really really need to
Turning up the look

Looking like I have you, almost that your mine
I really have control, you’re really on my mind
Words really don’t mean nothing, I have you by design
I’ve shown you what I got, so I’m turning up the look

Turning Up the Look

You keep crossing the double line.
I don’t know what I said, I don’t know what I did.
Am I wrong or am I right, you have left me so far behind,
I can’t tell whether to run or hide.
Because you keep crossing that double line

Its passion and purpose for us to fight.
But I won’t rest for our truths our wrongs and our rights.
Confusion at times, that’s part of the game
There is no holding back when we live our lives.
You have control but when there is pain, that’s when you come alive.
That’s when you keep crossing the double line.

As far as I can see, I know you are true to me, I can trust you to do most everything.
But that double line becomes blurry when that jealousy overtakes your mind.
Trust becomes more of an illusion when you cross those double lines.
The definition of trust causes you to become blind.
That’s why it’s easier for you to cross those double lines.

Without any regard, mad and envious, that’s when you’re not afraid.
You’re worries and fears seems to go away.
You’re claiming loneliness, that’s what’s in the dark
Conversa ting on the highway, that’s what sets us apart.
If I mention one wrong person, it’s like I am playing with your emotion.

Even on the road, signs are posted for your lane.
But one's things for sure, you have no remorse for who’s coming your way.
That what it is, you’re accusing me of something that didn’t happen
Crossing the line, that’s the only thing you have in common.

Double Lines

You had him once but didn’t try to make it, took him for granted, now our time is wasted
He sits in your mind, with your natural way hesitated, and now you mention him with intoxication
He’s all you know, not letting him go, afraid to stand on your own, you need to break your reasons
why he should go
While I am standing here wondering why, I’ve never seen anyone like you, someone who won’t put up a fight
It so kind, having you blind to any lovers rights

You don’t know it, you don’t believe it, but it’s my time, it’s my turn to love you
You never had it, you never meant it, so how do you know what love is
It’s my bad decision, my worst timing but it’s my own business yet
You can’t feel it, you can’t deny it, but it’s my turn to love you

He had his turn, you had to breathe it, one love’s bad turn
I cannot hide it, you can’t deny it, but it’s my turn to go to you
He left you out on the highway, the night is coming for its truth
He doesn’t love you, lustful after the sun has set, your antiquated with all his debt

Baby, it’s one more time, one more reason to leave him behind
So let tonight, let it be our time
I know you want it, you just can’t say it, but I know we are leaving him behind
There is love in our hallow paradigm
You can’t be afraid of going into the unknown, give us a chance to be someone known

It's My Time

When I see those wide open eyes, you’ve been in the dark with some other guys
High on an illusion of hope, I guess it doesn’t matter who you hurt
I know, when I see those wide open eyes, our time together seems buried so right
Craving with infatuation, all that matters is a fiendish high

All I wanted was you, I was mad at you, and I needed you
Now its goodbye, and I’ve always known the reasons why
So now it’s time to say goodbye, to your manmade high

You already knew, I was there for you,
With your wide open eyes, it didn’t matter a name
With a secret look, without any shame
But what happens now, after the high, coming down now,
Both Trying to play it off, I hope you now, it was always coming down to sayn goodbye
For right now it my turn to open my eyes

All I wanted was you, I was mad at you, and I needed you
Now it’s goodbye, and I’ve always known the reasons why
So now it’s time to say goodbye, to your manmade high

Gettn high with open wide eyes, maybe now not so shy
Too bold, your feeling is too cold
It’s to late, and I can’t wait
Your too gone, from a place beyond
Someone old to new, and I keeping tellin you, it’s not gettn through
I have to go, with no warning, bye to your wide open eyes

All I wanted was you, I was mad at you, and I needed you
Now it’s goodbye, and I’ve always known the reasons why
So now it’s time to say goodbye, to your manmade high

About Me

Bio

I grew up in the 90's, so naturally my favored genre of music is 90's, country, rock, pop, rap, alternative, and heavy metal. I am from Northern Arizona, and a member of the Hualapai tribe. Most of my influences in my songwriting come from growing up in the 90's as a teenager, and recovering from alcohol and drug use. Also, another huge influence is falling in and out of love with a girl in my early 20's whom I still talk to, to this day. I have one son, whom has inspired my songwriting ability. I really hope to write songs for living or be a part of team who has the ability to write great songs.

CV/History

I graduated high school in the year 2000. I worked around a little bit, in and out of factories in Northern Arizona. I finally went back to school in 2009 where i obtained by Associate and Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice.

My first inclination of songwriting is, I won a poetry contest when i was in the 5th grade. I also exceled in all my English classes in high school and college. I love to write songs and short stories.
