I’m not living how I choose
I’m not winning but I don’t lose
Lost you long before you left
Knowing there’s no replacing you.
It’s time I can’t undo.
It’s me you left behind,
in the darkness of the light
you walked through
And, I sit in that bitter truth.
— Break —
In the stillness is where I stay
sit here all damn day
I do nothing but I wait
Thought I heard you say my name?
must have been by mistake
from that dream I’m awake
and it’s still just me
without you
And I sit in that bitter truth.
— Break —
I have nothing and you left it all
for me to carry on.
But that part of me is long gone.
I feel so damn small,
in the emptiness of these walls
No one can fill the room
quite like you do.
and I sit in that bitter truth

* Bridge OUTRO *
I didn't hang on
before you were gone.
Now you're gone.
It's time I can't undo.
And that's the bitter truth.

Bitter Truth

A part of me lost.
A part of you found.
One stands tall.
One falls down.
One left to help
the other from the ground.
Action proves greater
than spoken sound.

One fulfilled.
One full of doubt.
One stays in.
One goes out.
If you take one from one,
that will leave none.
Because, just the one
is no good, without the one.

Where there is one.
Time will make two.
A little bit of me.
A piece of you.
Once was lost.
Once was found.

Once Lost. Once found.

Don't worry about me,
throughout the week.
You know this is our thing.
That's not gonna change.
I'll see you again.
Come this weekend.
I may stay away,
Monday through Friday.
But, You know where I'll be.
Come the end of the week.
I want to see you again.
Come this weekend.
See you again.
Come this weekend.
I'll see you again.

We just might be,
part-time lovers.
You got that part of me,
like no other.
Don't be surprised to see,
me chasing you down,
When it's Friday now.
I'm trying to see you again.
Come this weekend.

Don't worry about me,
throughout the week.
You know this is our thing.
That's not gonna change.
I'll see you again.
Come this weekend.
I may stay away,
Monday through Friday.
But, you know where I'll be,
at the end of the week.
I want to see you again.
Come this weekend.
See you again.
Come this weekend.

Come This Weekend

I knew you was no good for me,
when you was no good to me.
I knew we had,
no place to live in
Yet you still moved in.
A trap you set, I fell in.

Maybe because I gave in
Maybe because you get pushin'
Maybe because you love to swim in,
your own vile toxins
Maybe it was lust.
Maybe it was love.
Still 'maybe' Baby,
never makes the cut.
That's just how it was.

I knew there was no us,
when you gave no trust.
For me, that's a must.
Without it there can't be love.
While time knows love can't be rushed,
you still tried and drug us through the mud.
Hoping it would end like a movie for us.

Maybe because I gave in.
Maybe because you kept pushin'.
Maybe because you love to swim in,
your own damn toxins.
Maybe it was lust.
Maybe it was love.
Still 'maybe' Baby
just don't make the cut.
That's just how we was.

We was a 'never has been'.
We was a 'never will be'.
We was a 'make believe-pretend'.
We was never happy.
And, Baby, that's on me.

Maybe because I gave in.
Maybe because you kept pushin'.
Maybe because you love to swim in,
your own vile toxins.
Maybe it was lust.
Maybe it was love.
Still, 'maybe', Baby
just don't make to cut.
So, Baby, there's no us.
Maybe there's no us.
Baby, there's no us.
Sorry about your luck.
Baby, there's no us.

No Us

Life's so beautiful. So beauiful.
So beautiful we can't even understand 'how?'
So, we just live in the right here and now.
And, we miss our chance to see,

Life's so beautiful. So beauiful
The life you were given,
Wasn't quite the one you was living.
Still we keep believing,
It was meant to be.

Life's so beautiful. So beauiful.
You no longer have to worry.
All your heartaches and tragdeies,
Are left here with me.
And, you're set free.

Life's so beautiful. So beauiful.
We may find we've arrived here again.
Every life blessed with a second chance.
Not to fear the rain.
Rather, in it learn to dance.
Life's so beautiful. So beauiful. So beautiful.

May you be blessed
With a second chance
To learn to dance.
Life's so beautiful. So beauiful
So besutiful. So beautiful.
Now we see.
Life's so beautiful. So beauiful.
So beautiful. So beautiful.
You and me.
So beautiful. So beautiful. So beautiful.

About Me

Bio

Simply put, I am an artist, author, and poet. From a young age, I have had a passion for expressing myself through various forms of art. Whether it be drawing, writing poetry, or creating weird things for around the house. I have always found solace in the creative process. My love for the arts has only grown over the years, and it is truly my escape from the hardships I have faced in life. As a result, my writing tends to be on the darker side as it reflects my struggles and serves as an outlet for my pain and hurt. I hope that through my art, I can connect with others who may have gone through similar experiences and provide them with a sense of understanding and comfort.
