Hailstones like jagged flint,

As i watch it from my kitchen,

Harsh winds like banshees,

Pelting on my back door.

Sparrows whistling softly, sweetly,
Just like an angel’s song.
The bright sun shines down on Earth

This passing storm has left so fast,

Can I take no distance? Let me be!
Free from anguish and anxiety
Every breath fills my lungs with vile disease,
Every view, so corrupt, brings me to my knees.
Give me space so my wings may be freed,
Fly me away from all chaos and greed!
This eternal masquerade, it terrifies me,
Their haunting faces, smiling inanely.

Allow my limbs to stretch so that I may flee,
Constantly disgusted by all that I see,

You are like a dream that doesn't exist.

And I tenderly can not resist
The charm, which befalls me,
The splendour, that is you.

As I look to your eyes,

Thrashing rain rejoices me,

Nothing can distract me,

An empty cavern lays,

Mother to three children, i live in the south of England. I am introverted and live a private life. I try to remain humble in nature and mostly i am a happy soul who can light up a room, but at times i am filled with sadness. Emotions have always been the driving force being my poetry/lyrics. I am a natural poet and can write when inspired.
Writing poetry since a child as a way to understand the world and emotions. I have had poems published in various competitions over the years and have my first book (The Musings of a Lonely Pride) on amazon
