[Verse]
I found your number, finally called,
Waiting, eager to hear your voice.
You didn’t answer, they said I missed you by a month,
I tried to speak, breathing only empty air.
You left without a word, no last goodbye,
Now I’m standing here, Without you.

[Chorus]
Please come see me,
Just for a moment in the dark.
One more hello, I love you,
One more gaze into your eyes.
One more touch of your hand,
One more kiss on my lips.
Please come see me,
Don’t leave me hanging off the edge like this.

[Verse]
The clock is ticking on the wall,
Silence is the only other sound.
I walk through every memory we shared,
Still remember your smile and long brown hair.
I’m sitting on the porch, crying out,
Please come back, Stay a little while.

[Chorus]
Please come see me.
Just for a moment in the dark,
One more hello, I love you,
One more gaze, into your eyes,
One more touch, of your hand,
One more kiss, on my lips.
Please come see me,
Don’t leave me hanging off the edge like this.

[Bridge]
I just need one hello,
To make up for the years.
So many things to say to you,
I’m not ready to let you go.
I need to see your eyes,
Through all these salty tears.

[Chorus]
Please come see me,
Just for a moment in the dark.
One more hello, I love you,
One more gaze, into your eyes,
One more touch, of your hand,
One more kiss, on my lips.
Please come see me,
Don’t leave me hanging off the edge like this.

[Outro]
I spent my life,
Waiting for the day.
But losing you like this hurts,
Just one touch, Just once more
One final kiss,
Please come see me.
Please,
Come,
See Me.

Please Come See Me

[Verse]
Some hearts beat faster, walkin’ out the door,
They drum a farewell in the quiet of the floor.
Walk through my life, like a slow, soft crash,
Half-formed promises scattered in the past.
I learned lessons from the way they go,
The smallest pause with the loudest echo.

[Bridge]
Some people leave like a stone,
Causing ripples in water, chasing the unknown.
I hold the place where they once stood,
Even if you forget, I never could.

[Chorus]
Sometimes the kindest thing is a quiet step away
Doesn't mean it won’t hurt or haunt me some days
Unspoken goodbyes play in my head
Hearing every word you never said
Unspoken goodbyes curl up like smoke in my hands
I write songs for ghosts, and try to understand

[Verse]
I stood so still the world forgot my name
I count every breath, every half-made flame
Forgotten moments, slipping toward the seam
Where nothing starts and everything's a dream
They taught me how leaving always sounds the same
A hollow step, [Whisper]a whisper,
Then a train

[Bridge]

Unspoken goodbyes curl up like smoke in my hands
I write songs for ghosts, and try to understand

[Outro]
Go, step away, chase the unknown,
This one’s gonna haunt me. [Laughter]
Unspoken goodbyes ,
All the words you never said.
Say it again.
Unspoken goodbyes, Go on
This song’s for your ghost.
I Don’t think I’ll ever understand

What’s that? I didn’t hear you.

Unspoken Goodbyes

[Verse]
Woke up at noon with the sun on my face,
Left your memory where it laid.
Making pancakes with extra champagne,
Finally cleared out the cloud and the rain.
Bought that dress you said was too loud,
Wore it tonight in the thick of the crowd.
Reservation for a party of one,
The real fun has just begun.

Let’s go

[Bridge}
Turned off the noise inside my head,
I’m standing upright on a solid piece of land.
No chains, no shadows, no excuse,
Dancing solo till the sky turns blue.
Winning the day and I’m owning the night,
Taking myself out tonight, living my life.

[Chorus]
It’s just Me, myself, not you,
Living better than I ever knew.
Just the way I want it to be,
Finally feeling like me.
Happy being someone new,
Me, Myself, not you.

[Verse]
Booked a one-way to a coast in the south,
No more bitter words coming from my mouth.
I’m flirting with strangers, staying out late,
I don’t have to ask, don’t have to wait.
Took up a hobby you called a mistake,
Now I’m the queen of the mess I make.
The keys are all mine and the bed is a king,
I’m really enjoying this freedom thing.

Drinks over here

[Bridge]
No more compromise or walking on eggshells,
Don’t need a body standing here.
I’m rediscovering the version of myself,
That I haven't seen in years.
I trust my heart, I trust my mind,
Happiness is mine to find.

[Chorus]
It’s just Me, myself, not you,
Living better than I ever knew.
Just the way I want it to be,
Finally feeling like me.
Happy being someone new,
Me, Myself, not you.
Me, myself, not you
Hey, party’s over here
Me, myself, not you
Time to cut loose
Me, myself, not you

Me, Myself, Not You

Me, Myself, Not You

[Verse 1]
I gave you fifteen years all my love
Built my world on your fragile trust
I was the fire I was the light
You snuffed me out in the dead of night
You didn't use a knife, or a gun
The woman I was is gone
Undone
A quiet kill behind closed doors
Left me cold
Upon the floor

[Chorus]
You murdered the girl who used to dream
Shattered her soul at the silent seems
I'm just a shell but I will rise
With a hardened heart and sharper eyes
Fifteen years burned in the dark
I will rebuild from the broken parts

[Verse]
I learned to live in your shadowed cage
Lost my voice
Buried my rage.
But embers spark where ashes sleep
I'll take back the soul
You tried to keep
I'm stitching together the girl I knew
A battle scarred version forged and new
Your ghost can't haunt these bones of steel
I'll rise from the ruins I'm learning to heal

[Chorus]
You murdered the girl who used to dream
Shattered her soul at the silent seems
I'm just a shell, but I will rise
With a hardened heart and sharper eyes.
Fifteen years burned in the dark
I will rebuild from the broken parts

[Verse]
I will forgive I won't forget
I'll wear the scars like a battle vest
From the ashes I claim my name
A woman reborn untamed by shame
You murdered the girl who used to dream
I found her strength in my own scream
I was a shell now I ignite
With a hardened heart I reclaim my life

[Outro]
Fifteen years gone to the dark
I've rebuilt beauty from the broken parts
Fifteen years I gave away
Today I walk away.
The woman you killed is gone for good
And the one that's left is made
Of sweat and blood

You Murdered The Girl

[Verse]
You look so good in that dress.
I’m just five minutes away.
I didn’t see your last text.
It’s been a really long day.
I forgot to check the time.
I didn't hear what you said.
Just hanging with the boys.
I won’t be late again.

[Chorus]
Every word you ever said,
Promises you didn’t keep.
One more dagger aimed at me,
I’m no longer under your spell.
Checking out, I’ve got my receipt
For the lies you sell.
I’m not buying
The lies you sell
I’m not buying

[Verse]
Had to stay late at the office again,
Boss needs that report by ten.
She’s just a friend from work,
That smell, it’s just a new soap.
Traffic was crazy,
I took the long route across town.
I was just about to call,
The battery died on my phone.

[Bridge]
I thought you weren't home.
Went for a walk in the park.
I’ll be home soon..
I love you.
All the lies you sell.

[Chorus]
Every word you ever said,
Promises you didn’t keep.
One more dagger aimed at me,
I’m no longer under your spell.
Checking out, I’ve got my receipt
For the lies you sell.
I’m not buying
The lies you sell
I’m not buying the lies you sell

[Outro]
I’ve never felt this way before.
We’ll be together forever
Everything is fine.
I’m not buying,
The lies you sell
I need to return these.

The Lies You Sell

[Verse]
Been just fine
Left my high heels on the sidewalk,
Traded taxis for a truck.
Tired of the small talk,
Leaving a life built from luck.
Now I’m breathing in the clover,
Under a wider sky.
The concrete days are over,
Watchin' the hawks and eagles fly.

[Bridge]
No more sirens in the distance,
Just the crickets in the grass.
Found a beautiful existence,
Watching all the shadows pass.

[Chorus]
I’m a country girl at heart,
Tearing every map apart.
Yeah, it’s me, no excuse,
Finally seeing the truth.
I’m a country girl at heart,
This is where the good life starts.
Muddy tires and a fishing line,
Doing better than just fine.
Better than just fine.

[Verse]
Got a four-wheeler in the valley,
Kicking up a trail of dust.
Better than a dark city alley,
With the iron and the rust.
Learning to hunt sittin’ in a blind,
Beautiful when the morning mist is deep.
Feelin’ my soul reach for the sky,
My promises are mine to keep.

[Bridge]
Come the weekend, good radio station,
Hey turn it up
Drop the tailgate, light the fire.
It’s a brand new destination,
Taking everything much higher.

[Chorus]
I’m a country girl at heart,
Tearing every map apart.
Yeah, it’s me, no excuse,
Finally seeing the truth.
I’m a country girl at heart,
This is where the good life starts.
Muddy tires and a fishing line,
Doing better than just fine.
Better than just fine.

[Outro]
Got the wood, Got the fire,
Stocked on Beer.
And something stronger,
Fire up the grill.
Light the night on fire,
Yea, I’m doing better than just fine,
Better than just fine.

Better Than Just Fine

There’s a storm coming in fast tonight,
This heart of mine is ready to fight.
No more looking for hope in the quiet,
I found my power in the silence.
Done waiting for you to show up,
With your empty promises in the dust.
Go back to your ... “friend”,
This ride has come to its end.

This heart won’t break,
Unbreakable
I’m still standing, feeling great,
Unbreakable
I'm stronger than my fear,
No more wasted years.
You’ve played your part ,
Throwing punches at my ... unbreakable heart.
Unbreakable heart
Unbreakable Heart

There’s a glow inside my center,
Tougher than the diamond mines.
It doesn't matter who is watching,
Or if the sun forgets to shine.
I can feel the steady beating,
Like a hammer on the steel.
Forging something new and honest,
Something I can finally feel.

I was lost inside a thousand dreams,
Holding on to what was weak.
I used to let the words get in my head,
Now I just forget the things you said.
Thought I’d buckle, crumble under the weight,
Here I am, holding my own fate.

This heart won’t break,
Unbreakable
I’m still standing, feeling great,
Unbreakable
I'm stronger than my fear,
No more wasted years.
You’ve played your part ,
Throwing punches at my ... unbreakable heart.
Unbreakable heart
Unbreakable Heart

No walls, No lies,
No more I’m sorry or fake cries.
Found something stronger than hurt,
I built my unbreakable heart.
Who are you callin' crazy?
Yea, I’ve got your crazy right here mother ……
Oh wait, I can’t say that
Let me introduce you to my … unbreakable heart.
I don't give a ,,,,,,

Unbreakable Heart

We were fifteen years old,
Both the new kids in school.
Searching for our place,
In a cold and ruthless world.
It was love at first jump,
A simple hello … I was yours.
Bad boy on a skateboard,
Troublemaker they assumed.
You never apologized,
For simply being you.
Lost in your root beer eyes,
I found my own truth~

We'd sneak into the drive-in,
Holding hands, you were mine.
We shared mustard and fries,
I didn’t hate it.
Your trench coat, black and faded,
Always kept me warm on winter nights.
Piercing root beer eyes, so bright,
Told me you were everything I needed~

Two kindred souls destined by love,
A connection forever bonding us.
Black trench coat, long brown hair,
Stubble beard, kissable lips
Root beer eyes piercing my soul,
We were the perfect fit.

No lavish dinners,
Just the local fast food.
No flashy jewelry,
Paper rings made by you.
After school we'd roam together,
Whisper secrets, share our dreams.
We’d talk of forever, a future family,
We knew we were meant to be.
At the snow covered pond,
We promised forever.
No matter what the world threw at us,
We'd face it together~

In the truck bed under the stars,
We were lost in each other's arms.
In the stillness of your room,
You were the first to … touch.
Flesh to flesh, I gave you … all of me,
Body and soul no longer mine.
And every moment big or small,
Our love was our greatest call~

Through the highs and lows we'd stand,
Our love was our guiding hand.
In the chaos we’d find peace,
With you … I am complete

Two kindred souls destined by love,
A connection forever bonding us.
Black trench coat, long brown hair,
Stubble beard, kiss-able lips
Root beer eyes piercing my soul,
We were the perfect fit.

Shadows fell, forcing us apart,
Our connection never faltered.
We never found our moment,
To reunite what was stolen.
When the chance came …
You were gone
I'm left with only a piece of my soul
You carry the other half with you

In the twinkle of the night sky
I feel your root beer eyes
I promise to never forget, Never let go,
Till we meet again my love.

Wait for me
Wait for me
Wait for me
Wait for me
Wait … for me

I’ll be home soon..
I love you.
All the lies you sell.

[Chorus]
Every word you ever said,
Promises you didn’t keep.
One more dagger aimed at me,
I’m no longer under your spell.
Checking out, I’ve got my receipt
For the lies you sell.
I’m not buying
The lies you sell
I’m not buying the lies you sell

[Outro]
I’ve never felt this way before.
We’ll be together forever
Everything is fine.
I’m not buying,
The lies you sell
I need to return these.

The Lies You Sell

[Verse]
Been just fine
Left my high heels on the sidewalk,
Traded taxis for a truck.
Tired of the small talk,
Leaving a life built from luck.
Now I’m breathing in the clover,
Under a wider sky.
The concrete days are over,
Watchin' the hawks and eagles fly.

[Bridge]
No more sirens in the distance,
Just the crickets in the grass.
Found a beautiful existence,
Watching all the shadows pass.

[Chorus]
I’m a country girl at heart,
Tearing every map apart.
Yeah, it’s me, no excuse,
Finally seeing the truth.
I’m a country girl at heart,
This is where the good life starts.
Muddy tires and a fishing line,
Doing better than just fine.
Better than just fine.

[Verse]
Got a four-wheeler in the valley,
Kicking up a trail of dust.
Better than a dark city alley,
With the iron and the rust.
Learning to hunt sittin’ in a blind,
Beautiful when the morning mist is deep.
Feelin’ my soul reach for the sky,
My promises are mine to keep.

[Bridge]
Come the weekend, good radio station,
Hey turn it up
Drop the tailgate, light the fire.
It’s a brand new destination,
Taking everything much higher.

[Chorus]
I’m a country girl at heart,
Tearing every map apart.
Yeah, it’s me, no excuse,
Finally seeing the truth.
I’m a country girl at heart,
This is where the good life starts.
Muddy tires and a fishing line,
Doing better than just fine.
Better than just fine.

[Outro]
Got the wood, Got the fire,
Stocked on Beer.
And something stronger,
Fire up the grill.
Light the night on fire,
Yea, I’m doing better than just fine,
Better than just fine.

Better Than Just Fine

About Me

Bio

I am a long time songwriter. I used to dream of putting my works out for artists to maybe use one day. However, we all know how life is. It never goes the way we envision. You know, life happens. Married, kids, pain, divorce, you know, this thing we call LIFE! I stopped writing when I had kids. Writing was therapeutic for me. After divorce, everything I wrote was dark & unhealthy. 15 years later, events happened that made me realize I was dealing with trauma. EVERYTHING I'd been feeling since my divorce made sense. Clarity came in droves. The songs I have uploaded are only the beginning of my writing again. I am loving it. These songs are my past. From a lost high school sweetheart, to trauma, my release, my FREEDOM from so much that held me back.
Unfortunately, I can't sing. I wish I could. But alas, I can not! I don't play any instruments either. I simply always have been & will be a music lover. Music is healing! It's peace, an escape for the mind, body, soul & so much more to so many. The sample songs/music attached to my uploads are my lyrics, paired with AI vocals & AI music created with a subscription to SUNO. It has been a learning process in descriptive writing to get the tracks to sound as they were in my own head. I am grateful that I learn quick!
So, here I am, 30 years later, finally fulfilling a dream I had as a 16-17 year old who loved to write lyrics. I am putting my lyrics out for artists to see, hear, hopefully feel my works. If someone picks one up, absolutely great! If not, that's okay too. Because this has been my journey to finding myself again. Rediscovering who I am as a person. Seeing my beauty. Knowing my value. Bringing a dream to fruition. This is me, laid bare. And already working on more! Please, enjoy.
