Composer
Federico Longo's work VIBR.ID is on permanent exhibited in the Galleria Borghese in Rome
through augmented reality. Galleria Borghese in Rome, chose him as the first composer to resume
the tradition of commissioning a contemporary composer that had been interrupted for some 300
years.
In June 2022, he presented the first part of the site-specific musical work ‘VIBR.ID’, which was
performed inside the Galleria Borghese.
The live presentation of Chrmologhia, the second part that complete the entire work, has been pre-
sented in March 2024, also inside the Galleria.
In August 2020, he recorded live, in Piazza del Duomo in Cremona, the event Notte di Luce, which
was broadcast by RAI1 on 29 August and which saw him perform his own music conducting the
Orchestra Filarmonica Italiana. On both occasions, he collaborated with international soloists such
as pianist Anna Fedorova, clarinetist Alessandro Carbonare (Principal Clarinet of Accademia Na-
zionale di Santa Cecilia di Roma), pianist Carlo Guaitoli and cellist Sandro Laffranchini (Principal
Cello Teatro alla Scala di Milano) .
He has released three albums written and played on the piano by himself: La vena giusta del cristal-
lo (2013), L'arte del volo (2015) and Concatenation (432Hz tuning; 2018).
The three tours 2016 Washington-Maryland; 2018 New York and New Jersey and 2022 Maryland
and Philadelphia, have represented an important relationship with USA.
He designed and created the ‘LogoSound’, a real logo made up of sound and not with graphic signs.
Galleria Borghese for first has adopted a LogoSound that is used in multiple forms to entrust the
communication of its identity.
