Hi, I'm Ken Carlton, a down to earth lyricist from Oklahoma. I love blending raw blues storytelling with country grit and southern rock energy, and catchy, fun hooks. My lyrics come straight from real life-everyday joys, pains, emotions, and honest moments that hit home.
As a musician (I've stayed busy that last 20 + years playing harmonica in local bands), I have a feel for what connects with listeners and translates live. I've collaborated across genres and recently worked with a country artist who purchased 3 of my songs--one custom--for an upcoming EP (with recording already in the works).
