Verse I
Sorry I’m late again;
I’m so tired now—
Caught in the pouring rain,
It really dragged me down.
Let’s go straight to bed;
I’ll skip our talk again.
Too many things unsaid—
One day they’ll haunt my brain.
And so it repeats,
Until the day before.
The only thing you left—
A candle on the floor.

Chorus
Please, someone take my eyes,
’Cause I was so blind
For what I left behind—
Oh, what I left behind!
And take my heart as well;
It beats for nothing now.
Gone is my farewell,
Forgotten is my vow.

Verse II
That candle was burnt down,
A witness in the gloom
To all your quiet breakdowns
Inside that lonely room.
It warmed you through the nights
More than I ever did;
It scared away your frights,
While I, as always, hid.
And so it repeats,
Until the day before.
The only thing I own—
A candle on the floor.

Chorus
Please, someone take my eyes,
’Cause I was so blind
For what I left behind—
Oh, what I left behind!
And take my heart as well;
It beats for nothing now.
Gone is my farewell,
Forgotten is my vow.

Verse I
Do you remember us back then,
When, hand in hand, we climbed to heights?
You were my life; I was your man,
And laughter filled our days and nights.
I wish I could recall that smile-
It’s not the one you wear today.
I never thought, not even for a while,
You’d treat me in this cold, sad way.

Pre-Chorus
It hurts to see you, with no doubt,
Working so hard to filter me out.

Chorus
Do not filter me out,
Be empathetic.
I’m not a face in the crowd;
Please, do accept it.
Remember - we passed through the clouds,
Though not together.
We’ve both broken our vows,
Yet what we’ve gathered…
Is worth a lifetime.
Give us some time.

Verse II
Please tell me, how can it be
That we were once so close, so bound,
And now you don’t want to see
Or hear of me - not one small sound?
So few will be together till their deaths.
No fault was yours, nor ever mine.
We fought, we hoped, yet lost our faith -
For you to act this way? A crime!

Pre-Chorus
It hurts to see you, with no doubt,
Working so hard to filter me out.

Chorus
Do not filter me out,
Be empathetic.
I’m not a face in the crowd;
Please, do accept it.
Remember - we passed through the clouds,
Though not together.
We’ve both broken our vows,
Yet what we’ve gathered
Is worth a lifetime.
Give us some time.

Post-Chorus
It hurts to see you, with no doubt,
Working so hard to filter me out.

Don’t filter me out

Verse I
You speak of light, yet trap me in darkness.
I’m tired of fights - are you that heartless?
Why give me hope to leave us hopeless?
I’m bound in rope,
Just trying to cope -
The way you want us.

Pre-Chorus
And you are so close, but not at all open.
God, let this tale close - I am all broken.

Chorus
I love, I love you - love is never fair,
And when I see you, my whole body flares.
I’ve closed my eyes to your affairs.
Is there something I regret to bear?

Forget, forget me - please, forget and spare.
No one enjoys their soul in despair.
I’m done, I’m over it, and I’m not scared.
Today I choose my life to be repaired.

Verse II
You offer peace, but leave me in pieces.
Pull into the abyss and whisper, “Miss me”.
You are so still, yet never stillness.
I’ve lost my will,
Give me a pill -
You are my illness.

Post-Chorus
I’m done, I’m over it, and I’m not scared.
Today I choose my life to be repaired.

I’m done, I’m over it, and I’m not scared.
Today I choose my life to be repaired.

About Me

Bio

I’m a very sensitive person, and the stories I’ve seen and lived often come through in my lyrics. I pour raw emotions into my lyrics, creating words that really move people and stay with them long after.
In today’s AI-driven world, it’s smart to use its tools to improve songwriting. AI-generated lyrics are usually easy to spot—they lack the depth and richness of real feeling, which is the core for my lyrics. I use AI only to check punctuation and ensure my songs read naturally in English.

CV/History

My current work often leaves little room for emotions. Writing lyrics has become my way of expressing and processing feelings that otherwise stay hidden.
From 2010 to 2018, I worked part-time for a company producing greeting cards for various occasions, such as birthdays, anniversaries, and other celebrations—where I wrote the lyrics for the cards.
Apart from selling my lyrics, I am also open to part-time or hourly-based remote (if not in Finland) lyricist work.
