You always wait until your dying,
You always wait until your dying
Before you show me you are trying.

You let our time pass away,
You let it go for free, you couldn't hold on to me,
Even when I had no where to go.

I gave you all of me,
I tried to set you free,
I did my best, from me
Until you left, for dying
You left me for dying
You left me for dying
Now I'm dying, for not trying..

(repeat)

WHO'S THAT DYING

I write what I see
I write what I feel
I write about others
Rolling their wheels.

Fame eludes me
As I strike the keys
It used to be like honey
Grok is the bees.

All our songs
Have passed through our heads
Started in someones gut
And survived and bred..

Now I write for nothing
Writing for myself
Words that lost their meaning
Parked, on a shelf

A snake leaves a page
A balloon touches the moon
Everyone is happily ever after
This song, bends no spoons.
This song, bends, no -- spoons.

KNOT

I raised my fist
And hit him too
I had no choice
I saw him with you
I saw him with -- you.

I hit him hard
My rage took control
I couldn't close my eyes
To a cheaters toll
To a cheaters -- toll.

His fists struck back
They broke my skin
I knew I lost you
He had to win.

When you saw me next
Surprised, you were
Why did I fight
For you, for her
For you, for -- her.

You said you loved me
And you were with him
How was I to know
You worked out at the gym.

His fists struck back
They broke my skin
I knew I lost you
He had to win.

His fists struck back
They broke my skin
I knew I lost you
He had to win.

Keys & Honey

Shot my shoe
Clear off my foot
Grabbing at fame
Hoping for loot

My belt caught the trigger
The gun shot my shoe
Took off my foot
Don't know what to do..

Immortal soul
Save her for purity
Remember the days
She granted you hospitality

Immortal soul
Half a life you had
Do not take the innocent,
Making you all bad

Immortal soul
Forgotten you won't be
Even without my reflection
I know you are always me..

The world died today
We could not stop it.
It was bound to happen
Love gone, we broke it.
We couldn't share love with peace,
We couldn't conquer hate, for love
And love couldn't stop what happened.

The world died today
The world died today
The world died today
And we couldn't stop it.

We should have seen the signs
Scripture said it clear
When the dead are reborn
Jesus is near.
People expected the same man
With sandals and a robe
Nothing was further than that,
We had no love to share
We had no love to share.

The world died today
The world died today
The world died today
And we couldn't stop it.

Jesus 2 point O
Reincarnated, reborn
Jesus came with love
The world poured out scorn
Jesus came back to life
Came back, to mankind
Jesus came with love
We turned away blind.

Father, Father
How can I help
Nothing was learned by my death
Father, Father
How can I help
The people are full of fire and contempt.

The world died today
The world died today
The world died today
And we couldn't stop it.

(long, low rumble sound to a final loud, boom!)

My Sons, My daughters, you must begin again
You must spread God's word
Until they feel my father again.
Preach GODS love, and show them how
Help them understand, and why
My sons, My daughters
You must begin again
You must warm the hearts of rulers
Show them love again.

The world died today
The world died today
The world died today
And we couldn't stop it.

Jesus came to earth again
And all his words hold true
When you love each other
You hold, each other, too
When you love each other
You hold, each other, too
Have your love, hold another
Sharing, more love than just for two.

The world lived today
An the world lived in wonder
Every living soul
Heard God's thunder
The world lived today
And every day since
Jesus returned with love
For everyone's kin
Jesus returned with love
To replace the sin
Jesus returned with love
To replace the sin
Jesus returned with love
To replace the sin
Jesus brought love to the world and replaced our sins.

Walking all the streets
Turning tricks for money
Broken by elites.

Never was this hard before
Keeping a roof, overhead
Had my friends, had my home
Had my drink and daily bread.

Then one day, life had changed
Angels helped, as I strayed
Things kept breaking, until I fell apart
Now I'm praying for my new start.

About Me

Bio

I FEEL WORDS. I LANDSCAPE LETTERS.

Born into a family of musicians, without a note to carry. When I learned how to write, my world changed.

I have written thousands of poems in my lifetime, and in 2021 started self publishing that work. Everything I add here is not just poetry. It has hopes, dreams, prayers and the intention of
fame attached to it. Some of my writing here is anti=establishment and is worthy to a band looking for instant fame. The lyrics are written to be sung and repeated by fans
as well as the bands artists. I'm thinking a rock, easy rock, rock-pop, or grunge -pop band would do best with the words as they need punch to make their point.Willing to work to change words.

CV/History

Writing over 30 years, lyrics, poems, screenplays.

I've never met a writer who doesn't feel things, doesn't dream or hope for things to go their way or to help mankind. This rule that lyricists sell their song is bogus, just like it was when musicians where having their work pirated. A.I. is changing the landscape of royalties in the music industry and I do not see why a writer gets the butt end of the stick all the time. Writers have experiences just like any other artist, and they write from that life experience, and they did not write a one time marshmallow to be used in one campfire and never seen again. Writers want fame just like musicians and actors, so I am stating my royalty changes here if I have to reset the entire monetary system for lyricists. It should be no less than 1% of gross sales or profit and the reason is, because writers keep praying that their words make the airwaves, and nobody can erase the wishing and dreaming and hope fulfilling prayer and reality of a writers wishes. Writers are not the doormat. The are the main ingredient and they are the yeast or baking powder of every great piece of music. The musician is the chemical reaction of those ingredients, and the listeners are the eaters. One does not exist with the other, so if my hopes and dreams are on my lyrics, be prepared for the 1% clause. Its our god given right.
