In my daddy's room staring at his guns.
He lived a life for us but always on the run.
We saw him make his last stand.
Made news through out this land.
That day we wept and we cried.
While the sheriff cuffed him on TV Live.
The neighbors scold and they looked.
While mother drew the curtain hooks.
The church was closed just for us.
We were the talk with much fuss.
Why oh why did you go?
Cause our daddy's a Black Crow.
Why did we cry?
Cause Daddy lived to die.
The judge would not yield.
Nor would he bend.
He gave him life right to the bitter end.
On the court steps Daddy kissed mama goodbye.
He said don't visit don’t even try.
Why was it so?
Cause my daddy is a black crow.
Why didn’t we cry?
Cause daddy lived to die.
We wept but not for long.
Little crows don’t sing that song.
Why, did you go?
Daddy, you’ll always be our black crow
