MUSIC FOR SALE

My friend calls me, says he's going out of town
Asks if we can watch his dog for a few days
Friday night he drops him off at our house
Says thanks for helping, I'll be back Monday

We're dog sitting
Favor for a friend
He'll be out of town
All weekend

Sunday morning there's a knock at my door
I open it, the dog runs past me outside
I chase after him, yelling for him to stop
He runs down the street, out of my sight

We search the neighborhood calling his name
I look online to see if anyone found a dog
My wife says you need to tell your friend
I grab my phone and give him a call
I say, I opened the door and your dog ran out
We looked everywhere but didn't find him.
My friend says, he ran home and was on the porch
My neighbor has him, he'll keep him til Monday
