The worlds not got safer, the world is a mess,
The youth of today seem to care even less,
They don’t feel protected, there scared for there life,
They hope there not on the wrong end of a knife

What has it come to, we’re losing too much,
The world is so different, we’re so out of touch,
We don’t understand how to care for the youth,
We don’t even know if there telling the truth

They tell us there ok, they tell us there fine,
Don’t know that there close to the end of the line,
Too many have suffered, a real waste of life,
They don’t deserve the wrong end of a knife

They won’t even say if there feeling afraid,
There leaving there house always scared of a blade,
How can we help them, enjoy there whole life,
Know one deserves the wrong end of a knife
