MUSIC FOR SALE

[VERSE]
I can hardly wait, only ten minutes more,
Till my feet hit the ground and I head for that door.

I've been waiting all day in this god-awful place,

Dealing with stupidity and working through my breaks.

When that clock hits five,
Is when i come back alive,

I park the work truck,
And throw my boss the keys
And say
"This job sucks."


As I jump in my old Ford pickup truck and drive on down the road.

I need some time to unwind before I explode.

Going down to the local Backsplash,
where I'm going to play some pool and catch up with my good friend Jack.

Then I'm walking over to the Sloppy Jockey,
to hang out with Jim and get a little cocky.

I will probably end the night in some stupid ass fight,

While hanging out with Jerry,
at a bar called Dead Head Larry's.

I know tomorrow morning might be a little rough,
But a guy like me isn't worried; it's just a little scuff.

No work tomorrow,
The weekend is here,

So, I'm gonna meet up with my girlfriend Jill,



And stop at the Kwik-E-Mart to grab some beers.


Then we're going to the mud drags to meet up with everyone,

And get a little rowdy and have a lot of fun.


There's no city lights or concrete out there,

Just a lot of headlights shining in the air.


Though the party is never over when the mudden is done,

Because that's when we all hit the local bars, my son.
