Was there anything else in the room
On the floor

I don’t want to look
There’s someone crouching there
Next to the stove in the corner
He’s standing up he’s coming toward us

He used to go into that house
He’d always bring different women along
Just bring them home with him
They’d go inside together
But he’d always come out alone
We aren't supposed to ring the doorbell there
But we want to know if it’s him
Not tomorrow but today

Those dead women you see
They’re just thoughts in your head
Problems you aren't facing
That’s why those thoughts appear
To keep you from setting out
