LYRIC FOR SALE

By WM Holmes

Against all odds....
and still we exist.
It is Rare,  on the edge.
On the cusp, and at the brink.
These words remark
the meaning of what truly is!

This question we ask
Leaves us to wonder
With possibly too many answers
Countless amounts of equations
Equating to a mass of numbers.

So count 10 down to zero
Launching rockets out into the atmo
Now among shooting stars
And strobes of light
Brightening up our skies at night.

How minds simply can't cope
With all it has known
and later been shown
Siphoning truth over falsified visions
Science over prophecy and well known religons.

So count 10 down to zero
Launching rockets out into the  atmo
Now among shooting stars
And strobes of light
Brightening up our skies at night.

Are we a phenomenal co existence
Where Paradox meet Alien intelligence.
Who cares as long as
we can live and breath and take residence.
Earth is our home
But we are not alone!

So count 10 down to zero
Launching rockets out into the  atmo
Now among shooting stars
And strobes of light
Brightening up our skies at night.

Will we ever make contact
Or is this already so?
Shielded by governments, making it their mission
to shelter the truth from the people below.

For one last time...

So count 10 down to zero
Launching rockets out into the  atmo
Now among shooting stars
And strobes of light
Brightening up our skies at night.
