Randy the Reindeer
Was a lazy reindeer, yes, he was
And Randy the Reindeer
Liked to play and watch the snowflakes fall
So Randy the Reindeer
When Santa called his reindeer to come pull his sleigh

He ran with all his reindeer might
To the farthest shrub of holly
And there he hid, a trembling sight
‘Till red glowed his reindeer ears!

Now Santa, yeah Santa
Saw what a gifted sprinter Randy was
But Santa, yeah Santa
Wanted all his reindeer merry and bright
So Santa, yeah Santa
Instead of forcing Randy to come pull his sleigh

He cooked up a plan, as an old man might
As tasteful as Mrs. Claus’ sweet treats
And asked Randy’s uncle Reginald
To talk sense into his nephew’s ears!

Now Reginald, yeah Reginald
He guides the sleigh when his little brother’s out of town
Cause Reginald, yeah Reginald
His hooves blink bright when he steps in snow or on a cloud
And when Reginald, yeah Reginald
Told Randy all about Santa’s magical sleigh

Randy sprang from under his shrub
Sprinkled white - all but his red ears
And sprinted right into his harness at the back
While all the reindeer whistled and cheered!

Now Randy the Reindeer
Is the jolliest reindeer on Christmas Night
Cause Randy the Reindeer
Thinks that the Earth around is the best racetrack
So now Randy the Reindeer
Wants you to watch out for Santa’s glittering sleigh

To see Randy’s uncle leading the flight
Blizzard, Flake, Star, Crystal and Flurry
Skater, Glider, Meteor and - that’s right
Randy bringing up the rear!

You’ll see Randy’s uncle like a headlight
And Randy with his glowing red ears
It’s a Christmas riddle, don’t ask why
It runs in the family!
