RAISE A GLASS TO 36 YEARS
By Costa Rica Bart
There’s a couple I hold so dear
They’ve stood together through thirty-six years
And shared a whole lot of laughter and beers
They give each other so much love
A bond God made from heaven above
A perfect fit, handpicked with love
[Chorus]
Raise a glass to thirty-six years
Through all the laughter, through all the tears
Still holding on like they did back then
Best friends and lovers again and again
Some things in life are meant to be
Like your forever love story
[Verse 2]
No matter what may come their way
They’ll stand together day by day
Side by side, come what may
I forgot about your anniversary
But I hope this song shows the love I see
From car phone calls to Christmases past
I know your love was built to last
[Final Chorus]
Raise a glass to thirty-six years
Through all the laughter, through all the tears
Still holding on like they did back then
Best friends and lovers again and again
Some things in life are meant to be
Like your forever love story
So here’s to you both on your anniversary
Keep loving each other through eternity
