LYRIC FOR SALE

He's a part time poet
But no one else knows it he
Keeps the words to himself
He'll tell you a story
In all of its glory
Then put it back on a shelf
He likes to be alone, especially at home but don't call him a hermit
Avoids all small talk,
always wears socks, he says his feet prefer it

There was a time not so long ago
He thought he had a good hand to show but nobody one else wanted to play the game and in the end, nobody remembered his name

The first to e ery party, he loved any soiree
never wanting them to end
But when the parties were over and he got sober
He'd lost all of his friends

Avoids all conflicts, doesn't know any tricks
some might call him a fool
always the clown, in each and every town
since the first day he went to school

Their was a time, not so long ago
He felt that he had a good hand to show
But nobody else wanted to play the game
in the end, alone without friends
They all forgot his name
