We are promised in heaven
Eternal life
With no more pain

A few things more
Gifts I hope to see
When I reach heaven’s shore

Warm rain showers
That gently water
God's beautiful flowers

I hope heaven will have
Hummingbirds and butterflies
Whose brilliant colors
Brighten the skies

I hope there's a heavenly sunrise
Over snow capped peaks
Where water cascades down
To make crystal clear creeks

I hope heaven will have
Shimmering night skies
With stars so bright
They dazzle the eyes

Fields of green
Where children play
And where God is often seen

The Creator has given us these gifts
Here on earth for me and you
So I pray he placed them
