The air is dense, a confusing ride,
You can’t see clearly when the fog won’t subside,
Drew a line in the sand to give you direction,
Can it end in a mirror to give you reflection?
Grasping at straws to meet halfway,
Grasping at straws through your Groundhog Day,
Having no clue what souls might find,
Silence makes it impossible to read your mind!

Deflection of clarity, denial to ask,
Find your feelings when you lose your mask!
Avoidance is selfish, personified pride,
A sabotage of love when you prefer to hide.
