Two flights of stair a laundry room we share

Maybe I will risk climbing the stair

Running out of time it's the end of a year

Maybe it's timing or plain fear
Stops me calling from the bottom of the stair

It would have helped you being there

The fate that awaits me at the bottom of my stair
