You have fallen by your iniquity,
So has it been since antiquity.
You refused the testimony,
And succumbed to the ceremony.

Planets bore witness to your enchantments,
Rulers defied the endorsements.
A cruel calculus challenged the sun,
Sin prevailed O Daughter of Babylon.

Your vestments refused to honor a child,
Miseries of a curse were not mild.
Falsehoods decorated your balcony,
Hanging gardens denied the agony.

Your equations will be destroyed,
Frauds conspired in the tragedy of the void.
They moved the captives resolute in prayer,
None defied the priests that swear.

Sin prevailed O Daughter of Babylon.

You ignored the edifice in Jerusalem,
The unclean poem you did not condemn.
Who will destroy the solemn estate?
Mercy succumbed to the right hand of fate.

Your streets lost to the sins of elders,
The broken math voices only slanders.
Happy is the one who repays your sins,
Thy nakedness is uncovered, thy shame is seen.

Come rest in the dust,
Your mouth we dare not trust.
For your nakedness and shame will convert,
And the orbit of prayer you shall subvert.

Sit silent before the broken witness,
The treachery of the throne does not confess.
Lady of the Chaldeans denies sorcery,
Abandon now the forgery.

Babylon has fallen by your seduction,
The geometry of sin is a fiction.
In the science of your betrayal,
Isaiah exposed the denial.
