I don't know how I put together these words,
God put them in my heart, like a miracle to be heard.
I’m just the instrument, like a guitar in a band,
Strumming His rhythm, with my heart in His hand.

Chorus:
I pray for guidance every day,
To follow His will, in every way.
I was blind before, but now I see,
Living for God, that’s where I’m meant to be.

Verse 1:
I can't explain the pain, or what addiction means,
I've seen its toll, the shattered dreams.
I can't tell you the joy that comes from a high,
But I’ve seen the damage and I've seen loved ones die.
That's what troubles me inside.

I was blind before, but now I see,
Living for God, that’s where I’m meant to be.

Verse 2:
I used to live my life for everyone else,
I put others first, but forgot to live for God.
Chasing their happiness, I thought it was the goal,
Until I found the peace that fills my soul.
I was lost in the noise, not knowing my way,
But then I was baptized, and found a new day.
Now I live for God, for Jesus, for truth,
A life fulfilled, I’ve found my proof.

I’ve been numb for so long, hiding pain inside,
Pretending I was fine, just letting life slide.
I have been lied to and abused.
I have been a victim for so long and misused.
But now I see the light, through His grace and love,
No longer lost, I’m guided from above.
I thank the Lord for choosing me,
To speak His words, and set others free.
