Jupiter Laments

By Richard M Moss MD
The decimal of sorrow denies the eclipse,
And forsakes the legend of the ellipse.
Who guides the wind in the vortex of time?
And conceals the myth that commits the crime?

The hills bear witness of the invincible law,
Ignore the prophesy of a planet’s flaw.
Tears defy the code of the czar,
Jupiter laments the order of the star.

A daughter is victim to the theft of a king,
The orbits obscure the ministry of spring.
No prayer could protect the whisper of the valley,
Your tongue thirsts, now seek the alley.

A wound defies the logic of a scribe,
For the code is toppled by the lies of a tribe.
The music of sympathy obeys the crown,
Lies have descended by the theory of a noun.

Myths have broken the serenity of belief,
Truth has fallen in the promise of relief.
Rise up from the rubble of the edifice,
While high priests debate the precipice.

The hills bear witness of the invincible law,
And ignore the prophesy of a planet’s awe.
Tears defy the code of the czar,
Jupiter laments the order of the star.

The reign of the criminal is defied,
Obscure not the truth you deny,
The clouds will bow to the sword,
And admire the poetry of the chord.

Topple the theater of mystic lies,
The perverse calculus of cities is not wise.
Defend the children of the sacrament,
Fear not the sermon of the parliament.

Gather up the waters of the laughing child,
Dispel the pagan curse of the wild.
Dry the tears of the servants of Aaron,
Hear the laughter that conceals the sun.

The hills bear witness of the invincible law,
And ignores the prophesy of a planet’s awe.
Tears defy the code of the czar,
Jupiter laments the order of the star.
